[Mar del Plata, Argentina]. Graciela Rosa Formoso, a user of IOMA’s health scheme, arrived at Estudio Hooft & Suárez discouraged by the health provider’s refusal to provide her a high-complexity equipment consisting of an insulin pump to treat her diabetes. Without it, her quality of life was really bad. Through an urgent action of protection, the Law Firm was able to ensure that IOMA would comply with its obligation by delivering the equipment and the necessary supplies. Today, Graciela leads a much better, happy and peaceful life.-

[Argentina | Holanda]. Nathalie , who is Dutch, and her Argentinean partner, traveled with their two Dutch children nationality to Argentina to visit their father’s family. Afterwards they settled temporarily in the city of Mar del Plata. The couple separated and Nathalie intended to return to her country of origin with her children. An Argentinean court order forbade them to leave for the Netherlands. With the representation of our Law Firm she managed to return to the Netherlands with the children. A complex case where the Embassy also intervened and had international media repercussions.

[Argentina | Bélgica] Maricel with Argentinean/Italian nationality, lived in Belgium with her Moroccan partner and her underage child “A” with both of Argentinean/Italian nationality. Being a victim of gender violence, both psychological and physical, she managed to collect all kinds of evidence regarding the violence she suffered (reports, photos, videos, etc.).
Maricel decided to leave Belgium with “A” illegally (the son’s habitual residence was in Belgium). Upon her arrival in Mar del Plata and with the representation of our Firm, she obtained a favorable sentence that allowed her to stay with her son in Mar del Plata.
